Fire Safe 108 Wood is a water-based, VOC compliant ULC Class “A” rated fire retardant penetrating treatment designed for interior use on untreated wood and fibrous cellulose materials. Suitable for interior applications requiring a flame spread of 25 or less, when tested in accordance with CAN/ULC 5-102 and ASTM E-84-09. Ideal for structures and surfaces required to conform to building codes and fire regulations.
Fire Safe 108 Wood dries to a matte finish and in most applications, enhances the wood grain finish.
For exterior applications, the product must be coated with Green Dolphin Top Coat, or a similar compatible water-based coating for weather and UV protection.
